Last week, Liverpool, arguably the favorite on paper to win this year’s title suffered a shocking loss to Atalanta of Italy on home soil. So, they would be looking to overcome the 3-0 scoreline. Atalanta vs Liverpool FC

Following a 2-1 loss in Portugal, Marseille will be looking the home advantage into their favor when welcoming Benfica on Thursday. In their last eight games at home, Marseille haven’t tasted defeat winning five of those and drawing three times. Four of those wins have seen them recording 3 plus goals per match. The last time these two sides faced each other in France was back in 2009 with Benfica reigning supreme by a 2-1 scoreline in the same tournament. If Benfica manages to progress to the semi-finals, it would be the first time in 10 years. Marseille have a good track record against Portuguese sides at home with four wins in the last five outings.
