It all went a bit Pete Tong last night after Pirates striker Thamsanqa Gabuza was involved in one of the more bizarre exchanges you’ll see on a football pitch.

It seemed like a funny/bizarre incident at first glance, but it seems that Gabuza had simply had enough of the flak he was getting from the Pirates fans. There’s a far more somber side to the story as you can see in this story run today by Kick Off. Food for thought.
