The problem with the Angels is how they always fail to clear their bases, their offensive struggles this season have been well shown. It’s unlikely that the Tigers make the playoffs but it’s not mathematically impossible as of yet. The Tigers look sharp, they are the better team in this matchup, take them to win.

Nick Nastrini is the starting pitcher for the White Sox for this game, and with him starting it makes sense as to why the Rangers are huge favourites to win here. He is still young, and there is potential, but in 5 starts this season his team has lost all games, and he holds an ERA of 8.39 and WHIP of 1.99. The Rangers are not known for their offense, but they would love to see his name on the board. The Rangers have already won 2 games in this series and will win again giving Chicago their 7th loss in a row.

The odds for either team here are pretty close and that should let you know that this game could go either way, but I am going with the Padres here. Michael King is starting for the Padres, and he is the reason I am taking them to win, every time I have chosen to go with Michael the Padres win. This month alone he has started 4 games pitching a total of 22 innings and in those 4 games, the Padres won three. It’s been a long time since he has lost back-to-back in starts, the last time was June.  The Padres are the better offensive team, and I see them coming out on top here.
