I like the Pelicans to win and cover the spread too.

Here you get a team that has high ambitions and another team that is rebuilding. The Hawks are easily the better team on paper and Magic have no defense that can stop John Collins, Trae, and the latest Hawk, Dejounte Murray. After this game finishes one side will have 2 wins in 2 games while the other will have 2 losses in as many games.

The Grizzlies won in overtime against the Knicks in their first game of the season. Now the difference between the Knicks and the Rockets is that the Knicks were very aggressive and that is not the style of the Rockets at all. The Grizzlies are still very much underrated but this is a team that will have yet another wonderful season as long as Ja Morant is fit and playing. The spread is set at six, knowing it’s the Rocket’s first game at home they will try to put up a contest but I see them going 0-2. Rudy Gobert had an excellent debut against OKC where he had 23 points 16 rebounds and 2 assists. Now it’s early in the season but Rudy will be up against his old side and will put up yet another excellent performance. Utah Jazz surprisingly beat the Nuggets in their first game but here they won’t have it easy scoring in the paint. Minnesota always starts the season well and last game players like Anthony Edwards didn’t even need to go off for them to comfortably win. The Timberwolves look like they have it all when you look at the starting lineup, they should win this game and since they are playing at home covering the spread is also possible.
