The Padres are not as good as they appear on paper and they certainly struggle against top sides. Adam Wainwright starts for the Cardinals and one thing about Adam is that he shows up against good sides compared to those under 500. Last time he limited the Brewers to only one run. This game would likely be an under but Mike Clevinger is consistent holding an ERA OF 4.47. This new Padres side is not that good, they have lost their last 6 to the Cardinals, give the Cardinals the spread here.
