Two of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC will face off for the BMF belt when Dustin Poirier takes on Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 291 in Salt Lake City on July 29. UFC president Dana White announced the bout along with the rest of UFC 291’s main card and two preliminary fights on Tuesday.

Poirier and Gaethje will face each other for the second time after their first fight won the 2018 UFC Fight of the Year. On that night, Poirier earned a fourth-round TKO and this time, a much-improved Gaethje will be looking for revenge as the lightweights run it back in a five-round main event.
Another big fight on the main card will see the former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz take on the former middleweight champ Alex Pereira in what is an intriguing matchup. It will be “Poatan’s debut in the UFC LHW division as he looks to become a two-division champion in the UFC, as he did in his Glory Kickboxing days.
