In his first appearance on the Bet Central Podcast, David Kappel, who is a well-known punter in South Africa’s betting Twitter ecosystem provides us with a 12-leg multi from the Uefa Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League this week.

Europe’s three elite club competitions usually promises two things: goals and favourites to win., and David has come prepared as we build a 12-leg multi with every match from UEFA’s three cups this week, cut and slice the slip as you wish for use at 23.72 odds. You can read of listen to his best bets.

Man City v Atletico Madrid: Under 3.5 goals

Both teams come into this game on good form, City are unbeaten in 7 games, while Atletico are unbeaten in 8 and even won their last 6. I think this will be a tight affair, Atletico will defend deep and hope for a counter, while City will have most of the ball.

Bet Now: Under 3.5 goals

Benfica v Liverpool: Liverpool win

Liverpool are the clear favourites here for me. They’ve lost just 1 of their last 20 games in all competitions and beat Portuguese leaders Porto 5-1 (away) and 2-0 earlier in the season. Porto are first in Portugal, and Benfica are third, winning just 6 of their last 12 games.

Suggested Bet: Liverpool win

Villarreal v Bayern: Bayern win/draw & over 1.5 goals

Bayern are the clear favourites but they’ve shown some small hiccups this season. They seem to be back on track and are unbeaten in 8 games. All of Villarreal’s UCL games this season had at least 2 goals, 5 out of 8 had 3 or more. 7 out of Bayern’s 8 games had 3 or more goals and they’re still unbeaten.

Suggested Bet: Villarreal v Bayern: Bayern win/draw & over 1.5 goals

Chelsea v Real Madrid: Under 3.5 goals

Similar to City vs Atletico, I’m expecting a tight game. Chelsea will focus on defence after conceding 4 goals vs Brentford. Real Madrid will approach this game similar to their PSG first leg, trying to sit deep. Both teams met last year and the game were very tight – 1-1 in Madrid and 2-0 in London.

Suggested Bet: Under 3.5 goals

Bodo Glimt v Roma: Over 1.5 goals

The two teams met earlier in the campaign when Glimt famously humbled Roma 6-1, while they drew 2-2 in the second leg. Both are on decent runs, Roma unbeaten in 9 games, while Glimt are even without a defeat in 37 matches. Out of Glimt’s 16 Conference League games, only 2 had less than 2 goals. Only 1 of Roma’s 10 games had less than 2 goals.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals

Feyenoord v Slavia: Over 1.5 goals

In another game where both teams met in the group stages, Feyenoord beat Slavia 2-1 at home and drew the second match 2-2. 12 of Feyenoord’s 14 games had over 1.5 goals – in fact, all of those had over 2.5 goals, while 8 of Slavia’s 10 games had over 1.5 goals, too – 7 had over 2.5.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals

Marseille v PAOK: Over 1.5 goals

Marseille dropped out of the Europa League in the Conference and had 3 goals in their 4 games. They are also on a 5-game winning run. PAOK have just 2 of their last 25 games in all competitions, 11 of their 14 Conference League games had over 1.5 goals.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals

Leicester v PSV Eindhoven: Over 1.5 goals

Leicester dropped out of the Europa League into the Conference League and 9 out of their 10 European games this season have had at least over 1.5 goals. PSV are unbeaten in 13 games but also dropped from Europa into Conference League, 8 of their 10 games in Europe had over 1.5 goals.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals

Leipzig v Atalanta: Over 1.5 goals

Leipzig have lost just 1 of their last 15 games, they dropped out of the Champions League into Europa League. Their 6 UCL games had 30 goals, that’s 5 on average before their two games v Real Sociedad both had 4 goals. Atalanta also dropped out of the UCL, where their 6 games had 25 goals (average of 4.2), and their 4 Europa League games had 12 goals.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals

Frankfurt v Barcelona: Win/draw Barca & over 1.5 goals

Barcelona have been incredible since Xavi Hernandez took over, moving from 9th into 2nd in LaLiga. They are unbeaten in 13 games. They scored 4 against Atletico, Valencia, Napoli, Bilbao, Osasuna and Real Madrid. They were horrible in the UCL but won both their away games in the Europa League. 7 out of Frankfurt’s 8 Europa League games had over 1.5 goals, in fact, those 7 all had both teams to score.

Suggested Bet: Win/draw Barca & over 1.5 goals

West Ham v Lyon: Over 1.5 goals

Lyon did knock out Porto, while West Ham eliminated record champions Sevilla coming into this round. 6 of West Ham’s 8 Europa League games had over 1.5 goals, while 7 out of Lyon’s 8 games had over 1.5 goals, with Lyon winning 6 of them.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals

Braga v Rangers: Over 1.5 goals

9 of Braga’s 10 Europa League games had over 1.5 goals, while 9 of Ranger’s 12 Europa League games had over 1.5 goals – with their last 4 even seeing 16 between them. But Rangers have struggled away from home apart from their 4-2 win at Dortmund, drawing 4 and losing 2.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 goals
