Juventus v Barcelona – What Bets To Take

Juventus v Barcelona – What Bets To Take, Value Bets and Bet Builder – all sorts of betting tips & value bets for you have some fun with.

Neither Juventus nor Barcelona are in great shape heading into Wednesday’s match. Cristiano Ronaldo is missing for Juventus, while Lionel Messi is underperforming for Barcelona.

Juventus are unbeaten in all competitions this season but have only won two of six matches on the pitch, with their other victory awarded after Napoli failed to turn up. Barcelona lost 3-1 at home to Real Madrid on Saturday and have now lost two of their last three.

Barcelona are unbeaten in their last four matches with Juventus but the Old Lady have a real opportunity to end that run when the two sides meet in midweek.

Team News

As things stand, Cristiano Ronaldo will miss what would have been a beautiful reunion with Lionel Messi because of or COVID-19. Weston McKennie has recovered and is available for selection. Matthijs de Ligt is still out while Alex Sandro and Giorgio Chiellini are also injury concerns. Scan results revealed Leonardo Bonucci did not suffer a muscle injury against Verona but he will still need to be monitored.

Philippe Coutinho has reportedly picked up a muscle injury and won’t be available. Gerard Pique is suspended for this match. Miralem Pjanic is still working his way towards full match fitness.

Two Giants Struggling

Both sides are far from their best especially domestically as Juventus have been held two successive 101 draws by Crotone and Verona. Not ideal start for new manager Andrea Pirlo. Barcelona may have fallen in El Clasico but they should be far more threatening on attack than Juventus. The absence of Cristiano Ronaldo is a major factor on the pitch and psychologically. I think Barcelona will sneak this one despite suffering defeat over the weekend.

Suggested Bet: Barcelona win at 2.55

Will There Be Goals?

Juventus defence is usually rock solid but there are doubts over the fitness of their defensive titans in Chiellini and Bonucci. The same applies to Barcelona who will be without Pique, this could be a decisive factor as Clement Lenglet thrives alongside the experienced Spaniard. With both defensives looking shaky, there should be goals on either end with a lot of attacking talent on either side. Also, there have been over 2.5 goals scored in five of Barcelona’s last six matches.

Suggested Bet: BTTS and Over 2.5 goals at 2.05

Value Bet: BTTS and Over 3.5 goals at 2.90

Goalscorers

fter becoming the youngest El Clásico scorer of this century, Barcelona’s Ansu Fati is looking to score in three consecutive matches for the first time. His pace and clever runs should trouble a Juventus defence that lacks pace.

Not always the most popular striker, Alvaro Morata has scored in four of his last eight UEFA matches, including the first goal in three of them.

Suggested Bet: Ansu Fati to score anytime at 3.10

Value Bet: Morata to score first at 6.00

Bet Builder

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals x BTTS x Ansu Fati score anytime x Barcelona win at 6.50
