For yet another season, Pep Guardiola’s Man City side go into a Champions League campaign as the bookies’ favourites. The reigning champions, Man City, consistently emerge as frontrunners in the Champions League, and this time, they’ve demonstrated their potential once more. The group stage draw favoured Man City, grouping them with familiar opponents RB Leipzig, along with Crvena zvezda and Young Boys.
Despite struggling to secure an away victory against RB Leipzig, Man City dominated their encounters at the Etihad, with impressive 6-3 and 7-0 wins. Notably, the 7-0 triumph occurred last season during their journey to clinch the title.
They’ll face stiff competition from the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Premier League rivals Arsenal, to name a few.
