Thursday International Football Treble & Value Bets

Thursday International Football Treble & Value Bets. We’ve created a lovely treble for Thursday nights action.

International breaks are never pleasant to any football lover across the world. However, we’ve created a treble for Thursday nights International World Cup Qualifying and Afcon which could make it just a bit better.

19:00 – South Africa v Ghana

Bafana Bafana host Ghana at the FNB Stadium in an AFCON qualifier. Both Bafana and the Black Stars are on nine points with the team from West Africa having a superior goal difference. Ghana will be without some of their key players with both the Ayew brothers missing out. The last time Ghana lost to South Africa was 10 years ago losing 1-0 in a friendly.

Bafana Bafana have added five more players to their squad with Lebo Maboe, Thabiso Kutumela, Thabo Nodada, Mothobi Mvala and Vincent Pule all added to the squad. Another tough game to call considering Bafana decent record against Ghana so I think these two teams will share the spoils in a low scoring affair.

Suggested Bet: under 2.5 goals at 1.51

Value Bet: Draw at 2.70

21:45 – Germany v Iceland

Germany will be taking on Iceland for only the third time in their history, the last time these two teams met each other was in 2003 which saw Germany win 3-0. Die Mannschaft are coming into this game on the back of a 6-0 thumping by Spain in the Nations League last year and will be looking for a big performance against Iceland. On the other hand, Iceland have lost their last five games. Joachim Low has named a strong squad with the likes of Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gundogan and Manuel Neuer all included. Youngster Jamal Musiala could be in line to make his debut after choosing to represent Germany instead of England. Iceland will be without Gylfi Sigurdson.

Even though the Germans haven’t been at their best in the last five years I would still back them to get the job done against Iceland.

Suggested Bet: Germany (-1) at 1.34

Value Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 2.10

21:45 – Scotland v Austria

Steve Clark’s men head into this game on a high after qualifying for this year’s Euros so they will be looking to do the same but they are not in the best of form after losing their last two games while Austria are in terrific form having won five of their last seven games, they have also scored in their last eight games. The last time these two teams met was in 2007 where Scotland secured a 1-0 victory. David Alaba and Marcel Sabitzer will be available for the game while captain Julian Baugartlinger suffered a serious knee injury and will miss this game. Although Scotland are unbeaten in their last six games at Hampden Park, I still back Austria to get their World Cup qualifiers off to a winning start.

Suggested Bet: Austria to win at 2.30
