What a lovely weekend of football and some of the punters at BET.co.za certainly had a lovely weekend.

We bring you some of the best punts of the weekend past.

First off, Cape Town City blew a 2-0 lead which would have meant our Fifty on the Favourite BET Boost would have landed. Pirates, Sundowns and Chiefs all held up their end of the bargain – only City to blame here. So close!

One of the most successful football punters of the weekend won over R12 000 after putting down R1000 stake. He punted on Europa League match winners before garnishing that betting slip with some local football. He backed Chiefs and Pirates and also Baroka and CT City both to score.

Other punters had quite a decent opening weekend of the PSL. Interestingly, one clairvoyant punter got the Highlands Park v Kaizer Chiefs score correct. Eric Mataho’s late left-foot strike earned him a cool R2 100 return from his R30 stake.
