The FIFA World Cup came to an end on Sunday, after an exhilarating match final between Messi’s Argentina and France that saw the PSG star lifting the long-awaited World Cup trophy.

The victory also saw the world superstar taking one of the individual prizes in Qatar. His teammate and French forward Kylian Mbappe also claimed one of the prizes after scoring all three goals for the French side.

Here is the full list of 2022 FIFA World Cup winners:

Golden Ball Award – Lionel Messi (Argentina)

The renowned GOAT claimed the Golden Ball for the best player at this year’s World Cup after leading his team to victory. Messi took the accolade in 2014 after losing in the final against Germany.

Messi finished the tournament with seven goals, after scoring twice in the final in Doha. He also took the first penalty in the shoot-out as Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalties following a 3-3 draw after extra time.

His teammate Mbappe came second in that award, and Luka Modric came third.

Golden Boot Award – Kylian Mbappe (France)

Mbappe took home the FIFA Golden Boot Award at the Qatar 2022 World Cup final football match.

He became the second player after English Geoff Hurst to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final. The PSG star scored eight goals overall to claim the award.

Golden Glove Award – Emiliano Martinez (Argentina)

Emiliano Martinez played a massive role in winning the World Cup on Sunday, as the goalkeeper was in commanding form throughout the tournament.

The Aston Villa goalkeeper deservedly won the Golden Glove for the best goalkeeper of the tournament after saving Kingsley Coman’s effort in the penalty shoot-out.

Young Player Award – Enzo Fernandez (Argentina)

Enzo Fernandez scooped the Best Young Player award on Sunday. The 21-year-old Benfica man started the first two games from the bench, scoring against Mexico in the group stage.

Fair Play Award – England

The English side left the competition in the quarter-final, and the Three Lions of England won the Fair Play award. They had just one booking in five games in Qatar.
