MTN8 Quarterfinals Treble at 8/1 For You

MTN8 Quarterfinals Betting Predictions – A Treble at 8/1 For You. We’ve got a lovely treble for you involving Pirates, Chiefs and Sundowns.

MTN8 Betting Tips Chiefs Pirates Sundowns

The start of the domestic season is here with the traditional MTN 8, where eight clubs battle it our for the R8 million prize.

Along with the usual big boys of the league, newcomers TTM, enter the quartefinals for the first time. This after buying the status of the defunct Bidvest Wits. TTM kicks off the competition against Supersport United.

Now, we’ve selected a treble from the remaining fixtures involving Orlando Pirates v Cape Town City, Kaizer Chiefs v Maritzburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns v Bloemfontein Celtic,

18:00 – Orlando Pirates v Cape Town City (Saturday)

These two clubs always seem to dish up classics whenever they meet. Cape Town City seems to have a hold over Orlando Pirates because they have not lost to the Soweto Giants is the last six head to heads. Added to this, City have thwarted Pirates title run in the last two seasons but this is a cup competition and the first match of the new season for both.

It’s hard to predict a winner from these closely matched sides so a draw after 90 minutes seems the most likely outcome.

Suggested Bet: Draw at 3.20

15:00 – Kaizer Chiefs v Maritzburg United (Sunday)

Maritzburg have beaten Kaizer Chiefs twice in the last three head to heads. The Amakhosi have made a major coaching change with the experienced and decorated Gavin Hunt taking the reigns at Naturena. Chiefs narrowly lost the title, they bottled it if we are really honest, to Mamelodi Sundowns. Added to their woes is the transfer ban imposed by Fifa, the verdict from CAS is yet to be decided so Chiefs are in transfer limbo. However, with Hunt a serial winner and the pressure to get off the mark, we reckon Chiefs will edge this one.

Suggested Bet: Kaizer Chiefs to win at 1.75

18:00 – Mamelodi Sundowns v Bloemfontein Celtic (Sunday)

Sundowns have beaten Celtic by a one-goal margin in their last three head to heads and it’s hard to see this match going any other way. Masandwana’s squad depth is superior to Celtic and their fitness will also be a factor.

Suggested Bet: Mamelodi Sundowns to win at 1.73
