Supersport United v Swallows

Andre Arendse’s side are at home again this weekend, looking to solidify their bid for a Top 8 finish. Victory here could go a long way towards that, but they’re facing a desperate side that is fighting relegation, and that’s never easy. Supersport have already kept three consecutive clean sheets since Kaitano Tembo left (this only happened once in his four-year spell). They’ll fancy another clean sheet given they’re facing one of the most goal-shy teams in the league.

6 – Swallows have scored just 6 goals away from home this season, the fewest of all sides.

Suggested Bet: Supersport win/draw or under 2.5 goals

Value Bet: Supersport to win

AmaZulu v Sekhukhune

This is a game AmaZulu are expected to win. They are unbeaten in 5 matches and welcome a side that has one win in the last 15 games in all competitions. In terms of clean sheets, these are the 2nd and 3rd best sides in the league (behind Sundowns), so we could see a tight game. Having said that, Usuthu are heavily favoured to win this, and that may have a lot to do with their home form (plus the run of four consecutive clean sheets).

0 – AmaZulu are unbeaten at home this season, a record they share only with Sundowns.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5

Value Bet: Draw

Cape Town City v Galaxy

No team has won more points than Cape Town City this year (23). So this would be the last game a relegation threatened side would want. Surviving relegation is the main goal for Galaxy, but City to have objectives of their own. They are tied on points for 2nd with Royal AM, and with the Durbanites off this weekend, City could put one hand on a CAF Champions League position with a win here. Hugo Marques leads the league for clean sheets and could make a giant leap towards the Golden Boot with another one this weekend.

11 – Cape Town City are unbeaten in 11 league matches (W6 D5 since December), their longest run without defeat since they joined the top-flight in 2016 (previously 10 matches also under Tinkler in 2017).

Suggested Bet: CT City win/draw

Suggested Bet: CT City to win

Kaizer Chiefs v Mamelodi Sundowns

This was supposed to be a title decider, but the title had already been sewn up by Sundowns. This now looks more like a match to decide how big the gap between the sides has grown. Chiefs know that CAF places are at stake, and that could be the motivator to drive them over the line this weekend. Their home struggles are well documented, but if there is one team that knows what it takes to stop Sundowns, it is them. After all, they were the side that prevented Downs from going invincible last term, and we wouldn’t put it past them spoiling the guard-of-honour party.

21 – Sundowns have lost more league matches against Kaizer Chiefs than any other opponent in the PSL (21).

Suggested Bet: Sundowns win/draw

Suggested Bet: Sundowns to win
