PSL FIXTURES AND PRIZE MONEY ANNOUNCED

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) have confirmed prize money and the opening round of fixtures for the Absa Premiership 2019/2020 season.

There is a Tshwane Derby to kick off the new campaign as defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns take on SuperSport United.

PSL Runner ups Orlando Pirates host Bloemfontein Celtic another tasty opener on Saturday. PSL new boys Stellenbosch FC are at home for the start of their maiden voyage in the big leagues, they face Chippa United.

In other news, the league confirmed a 35% increase in prize money totalling R39.9 million. This season’s champions will earn R15 million (it was R10 million) while the relegated club will earn  R440 000.
