La Liga Matchday 29 – Preview and Betting Tips

La Liga is back with a bang over the weekend but we are still in the midst of a congested schedule for all clubs who have to play 11 games in the space of 38 days.

If you’ve forgotten how good the La Liga title race and season has been, do not stress, we’ve got you covered with the story so far.

Below, we preview the key clashes in La Liga this week.

Monday 15 June

19:30 – Levante (5.40) v Sevilla (1.64)

Levante have won just 2 of their last 10 matches (D2, L6), and conceding 2+ goals in their last 5 losses. At home, Levante are the only side in this season that are yet to score in both halves.

Sevilla are on a run of 5 straight unbeaten matches (W3, D2) and have scored an average of 2.4 goals per match across that period. They tend to score first on the road, doing so in 12 (W7, D3, L2) of their 14 away matches – more than all of the other sides. Sevilla have beaten Levante in the last for head to heads with only 1 match seeing less than 2.5 goals.

Best Bet: Sevilla and under 3.5 goals at 2.40

22:00 – Real Betis (1.95) v Granada (4.10)

After beating Real Madrid in their last home match, Real Betis’ commence the round as one of three clubs yet to be kept scoreless at home this season and as a result of their single clean sheet earned in January, a staggering 92.86% of Betis’ home matches have seen both teams score, with the last 9 producing at least 3 total goals (and 3 of the last 6 at least 4 goals).

Granada rediscovered their away goalscoring touch just before Covid-19 struck, taking points from consecutive away games after losing-to-nil in the 6 matches prior. Encouragingly, Granada have rescued points from 3 of their last 5 (W2, D1) LL fixtures at all venues despite conceding the opening goal. They also won the reverse fixture 1-0.

Best Bet: BTTS at 1.86
