Khama Billiat And 3 Ex- Sundowns Stars Still Without A Club

Khama Billiat is still without a club, one of the best foreign players to play in the PSL.

Khama Billiat

Khama Billiat is still without a club, one of the best foreign players to play in the PSL. The Zimbabwean was poached by Ajax Cape Town ( Cape Town Spurs) from his motherland side CAPS United in 2010 after just playing one game.

Khama had a three-year spell with Cape Town-based side, finishing second in the 2010/11 season log table with 60 points, equivalent with the league winners Orlando Pirates winning by a goal difference. In just a year of playing in South African top-flight football, he made his debut for the Zimbabwean national team in 2011 before moving to Mamelodi Sundowns in 2013. The prolific attacking midfielder has won everything in South African football except the MTN 8, including the CAF Champions League in 2016.

Many say the best Khama Billiat was at Mamelodi Sundowns, even though it was an exciting acquisition for Amakhosi, Khama didn’t perform as much at Kaizer Chiefs. After his contract ended on the 30th of June, he is a free agent and has not been linked to any PSL team thus far.

Amethyst Bradley Ralani

Ralani is another player without a club after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns. The Kimberly-born played twelve games in all competitions for the Brazilians last season, scoring two goals.

Lesedi Kapinga

Kapinga is one of the promising attacking midfielders in the PSL, given a chance and a game time. He played 24 games for Black Leopards before securing a move to Mamelodi Sundowns. Last season, he played only six games in all competitions for the Brazilians.

Lyle Lakay

Lakay was a regular in the starting lineup for the Mamelodi Sundowns, it came as a shock that the club decided to loan him to Cape Town City after making six appearances in their opening eight matches of the 2022/23 campaign. Also, Lyle was the reigning Defender of the Season at the time. The Cape Town-born played nineteen matches on his loan spell at Cape Town City and has not been linked to any team at the moment.
