FA Cup 5th Round Predictions and Multi

FA Cup 5th Round Predictions and Multi. We select 5 matches from the FA Cup for you to pick and choose to use for your multis & bet slips.

The FA Cup midweek action offers options aplenty for punters with a total of eight matches to choose from.

Our Midweek Multi suggestion is based on the bets which we believe have the highest chance of succeeding — some because of value in upsets and others where we are siding with the form book.

You can place these bets individually or together as a multi-bet. Should you go the multi route, a simple R10 stake could win you R448.01 at the time of writing.

Burnley v Bournemouth (Tuesday)

Burnley’s last six matches have seen them pick up successive wins over Liverpool, Fulham and Aston Villa, lose to Chelsea and Manchester City (understandably so) and draw 1-1 to Brighton.

Bournemouth have lost four of their last five games in the Championship, so the value is clearly with Burnley on home soil at Turf Moor.

Best Bet: Burnley To Qualify at 1.71

Swansea City v Manchester City (Wednesday)

Gabriel Jesus has scored eight goals in his last 12 FA Cup appearances and is a near certain starter after picking up an assist off the bench against Liverpool. Jesus has scored in his last two Premier League starts and it is likely that he will fire city to victory again.

Best Bet: Gabriel Jesus Anytime Goalscorer @ 2.10

Leicester City v Brighton (Wednesday)

Brighton are unbeaten in six matches and have upset the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur since a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on 13 January. Leicester’s form has faltered somewhat and the Seagulls are worth backing in the +1 handicap market. If the match goes to extra time or ends in a regulation time Brighton win, you will be rewarded.

Best Bet: Brighton +1 Handicap @ 1.90

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Southampton (Thursday)

These two evenly matched sides are separated by only two points in the Premier League standings. Both are struggling for form, so there is value in a regulation time draw at Molineux. This would be a repeat of their last meeting, which ended 1-1 in a November Premier League clash.

Best Bet: Draw at 2.20

Barnsley v Chelsea (Thursday)

Barnsley are mid-table in the Championship with two draws and three defeats in their last five league matches. Chelsea have driven past the bump in the road which they hit under Frank Lampard and their squad is full of players chomping at the bit for starting spots in Thomas Tuchel’s team. The Blues are likely to comfortably progress to the quarter-finals.

Best Bet: Chelsea -1 Handicap at 1.80
