Atlético are out of sorts with just one win from their last seven competitive matches (W1, D2, L4). Atletico have seen under 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches against Liverpool in all competitions.

In two straight prior seasons of reaching the UCL final, Liverpool have lost just two of 12 matches overall in the knockout stages. In their Round-of-16 ties therein, they won the away leg and drew the home encounter in both seasons, covering a -1.5 goal handicap in both away matches.

Liverpool are undefeated in their last 5 matches (Champions League).

Just five of Atlético’s 15 competitive home matches this season have featured both teams scoring.

In Liverpool’s six group stage matches, four goals were scored after the 80th minute.

Borussia Dortmund have drawn only one match (September last year) in their last 9 UCL matches  (W4, D1, L4). Each of the four wins in this sequence saw Dortmund win the second half to-nil (doing so ‘1-0’ on three occasions).

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Borussia Dortmund‘s last 3 games (Champions League). Seven of Dortmund’s last eight UCL home goals scored during a win have arrived after 60 minutes.

None of PSG’s last 8 Round of 16 matches have ended in a draw (W4, L4).

PSG have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 6 UCL matches. PSG’s strong second-half performances have been particularly common away from home. They average 2.33 goals after HT across their last three UCL away wins.

Atalanta are the only side in Champions League history to make the knockout stage despite losing their first three group games. This is their maiden UCL campaign and they have been handed a dream draw in the round of 16. Free-scoring Atalanta have lost just one of their last seven home games.

Valencia are not in good form ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Italy. They have failed to win their last three games in all competitions and have lost three of their last five games on the road – two of which were heavy defeats to Getafe and Mallorca. Los Che have remarkably had six red cards over their last 13 matches on the road and in each of their last two Champions League away games.
