After CAF President confirmed that the African Super League 2021-22 will be taking place under CAF, all the teams, fixtures, and schedules were revealed.

The first leg of the qualifying phase took place on the 10th of September of 2021, the second leg took place on the 17th- 19th of September, and the group stages were played early this year in February.
