Dortmund’s superb home form will be put to the test when they welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to the Signal Iduna Park this Friday. The Black and Yellows are unbeaten on their turf, winning seven of their 10 games played at home. Frankfurt, on the other hand, have lost seven of their away trips in the German Bundesliga. No team has scored more goals at home than Dortmund.
Suggested BET: Dortmund to win at 0.40
English Premier League leaders, Liverpool, visit the bottom side in the league, Norwich, with 55 points separating these two teams. With their UEFA Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid coming three days after this fixture, perhaps Norwich will feel like they have a slim chance of causing an upset here. Having said that, Jurgen Klopp could field his second-string team and still steamroll their way past most teams in England. They’ve been that good.
Suggested BET: Liverpool to win at 0.30
Value BET: Liverpool to win nil at 1.25
When it comes to finding an upset this weekend, Tottenham’s visit to Villa Park stands out as one of the biggest banana skins. Jose Mourinho’s men are without their star-striker, Harry Kane, while they’re still biding into the fact that Christian Eriksen has departed for Inter Milan. Jose Mourinho’s desperation for a trophy could also play a huge factor in this tie as Spurs host, RB Leipzig, a few days after this tie in the UEFA Champions League. Aston Villa have shown that they’re capable of causing an upset this season.
Suggested BET: BTTS at 0.65
The KZN derby in Durban should be interesting to follow as AmaZulu hope to make it back-to-back wins in the Absa Premiership. After being dumped out of the Nedbank Cup by Bloemfontein Celtic, Usuthu have set their sights solely on survival. Golden Arrows have won seven times this season, with six of their victories coming in Durban. With the game being played at the Kings Park Stadium, both teams will feel that they have an even chance of claiming maximum points. They say form goes out the window in derby matches, but it’s hard to look past AmaZulu’s three defeats from their last four league encounters.
Dobsonville Stadium should draw an exciting crowd when Swallows host Mbombela United this Saturday. The Dube Birds are third in the GladAfrica Championship, while Mbombela United are second from the bottom. The visitors are winless in four league matches but will take some positives after knocking Cape Town City out of the Nedbank Cup. Swallows are on a superb run of form, though, winning six of their last seven ties.
Suggested BET: Swallows to win at 0.03
One of Al Ahly’s catch-up games sees them host El Masry this Friday night. Despite having three games in hand, the Egyptian powerhouses boast a commanding 10-point lead at the top of the table. They’ve won all 14 of their league games, scoring a massive 40 goals, whilst only conceding three times. El Masry have won just one of their last five encounters, which wouldn’t give them much hope against the log-leaders.
Suggested BET: Al Ahly to win at 0.40
Suggested BET: Al Ahly to win to nil at 1.00
Amiens have the mammoth task of welcoming Paris Saint-Germain to their home stadium this weekend. The hosts are languishing down in 19th spot in the French Ligue 1, while PSG are flying high on top of the standings, winning 20 of their 24 games played, including the last five in a row. As much as Thomas Tuchel could make a few changes to his team, considering they play Dortmund a few days after, the Parisians should just have too much class for their opponents.
Suggested BET: PSG to win at 0.35
Value BET: Both halves over 1.5 goals at 2.50
Rangers will be hoping to close the gap on Celtic this weekend as they prepare to face Livingston FC. Steven Gerrard’s side are seven points off the pace, but boast a 19-point lead over third-placed Aberdeen. The challengers have won just twice on the road this term, while Rangers have won 10 of their 12 home times. This should be a banker, so include in every bet slip.
Suggested BET: Rangers to win at 0.18
Suggested BET: Rangers to score in both halves at 0.75
This one could prove tricky for Barcelona as Getafe head into this fixture as one of the league’s in-form teams. The travelling side finds themselves in an unimaginable third spot in the Spanish La Liga. That simply down to their superb form, winning four successive league games. Barcelona are yet to truly silence their doubters this campaign, although, at home, Barcelona move up another gear. With Lionel Messi supposedly not in great form, it’s scary to imagine that there is more to come from the little Argentina magician.
Suggested BET: Barcelona to win at 0.45
Suggested BET: Barcelona to score in both halves at 1.20
The biggest blockbuster showdown in the Italian Serie A is undoubtedly the tie between Lazio and Inter Milan. Both clubs have exceeded expectation throughout this term. Lazio are undefeated on home soil, while Inter Milan are yet to lose on the road this term. So, something has got it to give. The hosts have Ciro Immobile in their ranks, who is the leading scorer in the division with 25 goals. Inter have a quality striker of their own, namely Romelu Lukaku. Goals are a given in this tie.
