BET Central’s Best Moments from the Weekend: 7-9 Feb
Another beautiful weekend of sport is complete, so the BET Central office selected the best moments of the weekend.
A story in the Sunday papers about England Rugby approaching the SA Rugby Director of Rugby was enough to make him join Twitter. His first tweet was a video of his pre-match speech to the Springboks ahead of their World Cup Final win. A definite single that he is here to stay in South African rugby for the foreseeable future. Inject in!!!!

What a weekend of cup football in Mzansi, Lebo Manyama’s beautiful winner for Kaizer Chiefs was a standout, as was the Pirates and Wits humdinger with Mbombela United keeping the cup spirit alive by disposing of their Absa Premiership big boys Cape Town City.
One touch, two touch, three touch, goal! ??
Lebogang Manyama’s brilliant control in the box and clever finish was enough to see @KaizerChiefs progress to the next round of the #NedbankCup after a 1-0 victory against Royal Eagles. pic.twitter.com/UUSTa91cYA

Bangladesh won the U19s World Cup for the first time after humbling heavy favourites India in the final in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
India were unbeaten on their run to the final but their batting fell flat against Bangladesh’s pace bowlers.
Bangladeshi captain Akbar Ali said:
“It’s a dream come true. It’s all about the hard work we have done over the last two years. I would like to congratulate the Indian players. They have been brilliant throughout this tournament. Hopefully, this will be the start for us.”

He might have made a huge error leaving Liverpool for Juventus but it seems the German midfielder won’t have any problem settling in back home at Dortmund after his wonder goal.
