Nigeria did not start out as favourites to win the Africa Cup of Nations, but they have quickly become one of the neutrals’ favourite teams to watch after beating Egypt 1-0 and Sudan 3-1 in their opening games.

They will round off their group stage campaign today with a clash against Guinea-Bissau, while Egypt will look to secure a last 16 spot in their game against Sudan.

After a 1-0 defeat to Nigeria, they nevertheless bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau in their most recent game. Salah was predictably the goalscorer.

Against Sudan, a team roughly as strong as their most recent opponents, the Pharaohs are likely to pick up another low-scoring win.
