A SOCIAL LOOK AT HOW THE ABSA PREMIERSHIP PLAYED OUT
The Absa Premiership week started with optimism as Kaizer Chiefs hunted for their first win of the 2018/19 season. Both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have been less than convincing in their opening few matches this season but were hoping to bring hope back to the faithful during their mid-week matches.
.@KaizerChiefs are currently enduring their worst start to the #AbsaPrem in 9 years! ? Can @KaizerChiefs finally get their first win?

It couldn’t have gone any worse… Own goals from Daniel Cardoso and Gladden Shitolo, were the difference as Chiefs salvaged a point against Baroka and Pirates lost to high flying Bidvest Wits. Twitter had its say and Gladden Shitolo has been awarded the ‘Best Own Goal of the Week’.
Since @KaizerChiefs & @orlandopirates fans love their rivalry so much… Who scored the best own goal? ?

Congratulations SHITolo.
The stand out performance of the week/weekend was from a small team in Bloemfontein with a reject coach and financial issues. Steve Komphela has turned a mid-table squad into a well oiled, compact, fearless team.
