Soccer Multiples and Accumalators

We return after a short break with 10 exciting humdingers to look forward to this weekend. With so many huge derby matches taking place, we’ve decided to turn our attention to the less popular fixtures, simply because they should be easier to call. This week, we’ll be taking a closer look at some of the best bets in Europe, as well as back home here in Mzansi.

We cater for everybody here at BET Central, so let’s see what’s cooking on the menu this week:

Premier League

Brighton v Leicester City (Saturday)

Brighton have been one of the most unfortunate teams in Europe this season. They’ve dominated the xG stats, but haven’t had results go their way. The Seagulls will have a chance of getting their revenge after Leicester City dumped them out of the FA Cup last month. Brendan Rodgers’ men haven’t been the same in recent weeks, which is largely down to James Maddison and Harvey Barnes’ injury. The Foxes lost 3-1 to Arsenal and then salvaged a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 2.10

Value Bet: Brighton to win at 2.60

Tottenham v Crystal Palace (Sunday)

Tottenham’s congested schedule continues with a crunching London derby against Crystal Palace this Sunday. Spurs thrashed Burnley 4-0 last weekend, but had lost back-to-back matches in the Premier League. Before that, they had beaten West Brom after a run of three consecutive defeats. You never know what you’re going to get from Spurs, although Gareth Bale has been the positive light for Jose Mourinho’s men of late. Palace come into this game off a three-game unbeaten run, keeping successive clean sheets against Fulham and Manchester United.

Suggested Bet: Home team no clean sheet at 1.76

Value Bet: Crystal Palace to win either half at 3.25

Serie A

Hellas Verona v AC Milan (Sunday)

After a disappointing draw to Udinese in midweek, AC Milan will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they travel to Hellas Verona this Sunday. Their draw against Udinese meant that its now six games without a clean sheet for Milan, while they just haven’t been the same up front in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence. Milan will also have one eye on their UEFA Europa League tie with Manchester United next Thursday.

Suggested Bet: BTTS at 1.74

Value Bet: Draw at 3.30

Roma v Genoa (Sunday)

Roma returned to winning ways in midweek, where they had to fight extremely hard to eventually score an 88th-minute winner at Fiorentina. At the same time, Genoa’s winless run stretched to four matches as they were held 1-1 by Sampdoria. Roma suffered their very first defeat at home last week, but have still impressively won nine of their 13 games played at their turf. Genoa are now languishing in the bottom half of the table and lost 3-0 to Inter Milan in their last away outing.

Suggested Bet: Roma to win at 1.48

Value Bet: Roma to win both halves at 3.75

Bundesliga

Monchengladbach v Leverkusen (Saturday)

Monchengladbach and Leverkusen will be going into their German Bundesliga game on Saturday in very inconsistent form. The hosts are winless in their last five league games, losing three times in that period, while Leverkusen are without victory in their last three encounters. Despite their topsy turvy run of results, both teams are more than capable of banging in a goal or two in each – as was the case when these sides last met in December with Leverkusen coming out on top in a 4-3 victory.

Suggested Bet: BTTS at 1.58

Value Bet: Draw at 3.50

FC Koln v Werder Bremen (Sunday)

FC Koln have struggled at home this season and have one of worst records in the German Bundesliga. In their 11 matches, the hosts have won just once, losing seven times at their turf. Werder Bremen have had their troubles as well this term, but were ultra-impressive in their last outing where they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1. Bremen have shown more signs of encouragement than Koln, but with fixtures coming thick and fast, anything could happen.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 1.64

Value Bet: Werder Bremen to win at 2.70

La Liga

Elche v Sevilla (Saturday)

It seems like Elche’s fortunes are about to get worse before they get better as they prepare to take on a fiery Sevilla side in the Spanish La Liga this Saturday. The hosts have lost back-to-back matches in the league and are currently placed 19th on the log standings. Sevilla suffered a 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in their last tie, but prior to that, the visitors had won six games in a row.

Suggested Bet: Sevilla to win at 1.58

Value Bet: Sevilla to win to zero at 2.10

Real Betis v Alaves (Monday)

Real Betis continue to climb up the table as they go in search of their fourth successive league victory when they host Alaves on Monday night. Betis are now sixth in the standings and will have high hopes of finishing in the UEFA Europa League spots. Alaves dropped back down to the relegation zone last time out after suffering their third straight defeat in La Liga. In those three matches, Alaves conceded a staggering 10 goals.

Suggested Bet: Real Betis to win at 1.74

Value Bet: Real Betis -1 handicap at 3.10

PSL

Cape Town City v Stellenbosch (Saturday)

We are off to the Western Cape derby as Cape Town City host Stellenbosch this Saturday. The two sides met in the closing stages of 2020, where City came out 2-1 victors in December. Now, with Stellies on a seven-game run without a win, which also includes three consecutive defeats, Jan Olde Riekerink’s men will be fancying their chances. Cape Town City are the joint-highest scorers in the league, so Stellenbosch will have a huge task on their hands.

Suggested Bet: Cape Town City to win at 1.80

Value Bet: Cape Town City to win and BTTS at 3.95

Chippa United v Orlando Pirates (Saturday)

Orlando Pirates face the team known as their feeder team in the DStv Premiership when they make the trip to Port Elizabeth to face Chippa United. The Chilli Boys have shown signs of improvement in recent matches, dumping Cape Town City out of the Nedbank Cup and holding them to a goalless draw in the league in midweek. Pirates are on a seven-game unbeaten run across all competitions, winning six times. Josef Zinnbauer seems to be finally getting his methods right with the Buccaneers now looking like a team ready to compete for top honours again.

Suggested Bet: Orlando Pirates to win at 1.90

Value Bet: Orlando Pirates to win and over 2.5 goals at 3.60
