We cater for everybody here at BET Central, so let’s see what’s cooking on the menu this week:
Premier League
Crystal Palace v Chelsea (Saturday)
Crystal Palace have had an inconsistent start to the season and are currently languishing in 12th spot in the Premier League. Chelsea, on the other hand, suffered their first defeat under Thomas Tuchel last week, getting thumped 5-2 by West Brom after going down to 10 men in the first half. The Blues showed that it was just a once-off result as they returned to their best in midweek, beating FC Porto 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
Value Bet: Chelsea win to zero
West Brom v Southampton (Monday)
West Brom will be hoping to pick up where they left off last week after inflicting Chelsea’s first defeat under Thomas Tuchel, smashing the Blues 5-2. Sam Allardyce is famous for not getting relegated in the Premier League, and a few results like that could surely see Albion make a late push for survival. Southampton also showed great fight last week to come back from two goals to beat Burnley 3-2 at St. Mary’s.
Serie A
Parma v AC Milan (Saturday)
The team second from bottom faces the team who are second from the top when Parma meet AC Milan this Saturday. The hosts have seen better days and have been shocking on home soil, scoring just nine times in 15 matches. AC Milan have the best away record in Italy, winning 12 of their 14 games on the road. They’ve also got Zlatan Ibrahimovic back, who is five goals away from reaching the 20-goal mark.
Suggested Bet: AC Milan to win
Value Bet: Ibrahimovic to score first
Inter Milan v Cagliari (Sunday)
Inter Milan moved a step closer to the Italian Serie A title after beating Sassuolo in midweek. That result shifted them 11 points clear at the top after a 12-game unbeaten run, which includes 10 wins in a row. Cagliari are currently in the relegation zone and have lost three consecutive games in the league. This really should be easy pickings for Inter Milan.
Suggested bet: Inter Milan to win
Value bet: Both halves over 1.5 goals
Bundesliga
Eintracht Frankfurt v Wolfsburg (Saturday)
Wolfsburg look to be one of the best teams in the German Bundesliga and are on course to finish in the top four. Their main objective was obviously to secure an entry into the UEFA Champions League next season, which is a strong possibility, considering they’re third in the table and have won three successive matches. Frankfurt are having one of their best seasons to date and have lost just once in their last 16 matches and are just four points behind their opponents.
Bayern Munich v Union Berlin (Saturday)
This is a big game for Union Berlin who are in a great position but need to keep pushing if they want to qualify for the UEFA Europa League. At the same time, Bayern Munich will be looking to keep on winning games and seal the league title as soon as they can, while the Bavarians hope to keep their unbeaten run at home intact.
Suggested Bet: Bayern Munich to win
Value Bet: Bayern Munich to win both halves
La Liga
Athletic Bilbao v Alaves (Saturday)
Athletic Bilbao’s position in the top half of the Spanish La Liga table is far from secure, however, they do have an impressive home record to build on. Bilbao are currently unbeaten in five home ties but have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of those encounters. Alaves lie bottom of the standings after a winless run of seven league games. In that run, the visitors have lost six times.
Suggested Bet: Athletic Bilbao to win
Value Bet: Athletic Bilbao to win and BTTS
Villarreal v Osasuna (Sunday)
Villarreal have been brilliant in recent weeks and are currently riding a three-game win streak. Across all competitions, the Yellow Submarine have won five games in a row, including their crucial Round of 32 home and away matches against Dynamo Kyiv. Osasuna are winless in four games, failing to score in any of those encounters.
Suggested Bet: Villareal to win
Value Bet: Villareal win to zero
Ligue 1
Monaco v Dijon (Sunday)
Monaco have slowly shown signs of returning to their best this season and are currently third in the French Ligue 1. They’re currently riding a three-game unbeaten streak and have only lost once at home this term. Dijon are last on the log, which is understandable because they’ve lost 11 league encounters in a row.
Value Bet: Monaco to win both halves
Lens v Lorient (Sunday)
Lens have been superb this season and are currently fifth in the French Ligue 1. They’re on a 10-game unbeaten run in the league and are on course for a UEFA Europa League finish. Lorient are hindering above the relegation zone and have been dismal this season, particularly away from home where they are winless in 11 league games on the road.
