It’s that time of the week again… We’re back to bring you 10 of our best bets and value picks from Europe’s big five leagues this weekend in a bid to make some extra cash. Let’s get straight into it.

Arsenal v Newcastle (Saturday)

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their first Premier League loss in three months when they welcome Newcastle to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. A 4-0 defeat by Liverpool ended a four-match winning streak in all competitions, and Mikel Arteta’s side will be eyeing a return to winning ways against the winless Magpies who remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

Suggested bet: Arsenal to win
Value bet: Arsenal -1handicap

Leicester City v Watford (Sunday)

Leicester City will be out to return to winning ways when they host Watford in their Premier League tie at the King Power Stadium on Sunday. The Foxes are winless in their last three league matches, suffering back-to-back home defeats against Arsenal and Chelsea, in between a draw away to Leeds United. The Hornets, meanwhile, will be looking to build on their stunning 4-1 victory over Manchester United last time out.

Suggested bet: Both teams to score
Value bet: Leicester City to win and both teams to score

Villarreal v Barcelona (Saturday)

Xavi Hernandez will be hoping to pick up his second straight win in La Liga this weekend, but his Barcelona faces a stern test away to Unai Emery’s Europa League winners, Villarreal. The Catalans head into Saturday’s contest off a 1-0 home win over rivals Espanyol, while the Yellow Submarine had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo last time out. Having won each of the last four meetings, Barca will be confident of leaving the Ceramica Stadium with maximum points.

Suggested bet: Both teams to score
Value bet: Barcelona to win and both teams to score

Real Betis v Levante (Sunday)

Real Betis will be looking to build on last weekend’s 3-0 win at Elche when they host rock-bottom Levante at the Benito Villamarin on Sunday. The Andalusian club is fifth in La Liga and has won three of their last four home games in the Spanish Primera Division. Levante, meanwhile, is still searching for their first win of the campaign and has lost five of their seven matches on the road.

Suggested bet: Real Betis to win
Value bet: Real Betis -1handicap

Hertha Berlin v Augsburg (Saturday)

Hertha Berlin is looking to get back to winning ways as they welcome Augsburg at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday. Sitting 14th and 15th place respectively, both sides will want to improve on their current form. Augsburg has failed to beat Hertha in their last nine home fixtures in the Bundesliga, with the Old Lady eyeing a third straight league win at the Olympiastadion.

Suggested bet: Hertha Berlin to win
Value bet: Hertha Berlin to win to zero

Bochum v Freiburg (Saturday)

Freiburg will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after suffering back-to-back defeats to Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt. Meanwhile, newly-promoted Bochum has won 10 of their 13 points on home soil at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion and will be looking to add to that tally this Saturday. The visitors boast the best defence in the Bundesliga and deserve to be added to all weekend multiples.

Suggested bet: Freiburg to win
Value bet: Freiburg to win to zero

Venezia v Inter Milan (Saturday)

Serie A’s top scorers Inter Milan travel to the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo with three points in their sights. The defending champions were impressive against log leaders Napoli last weekend, claiming a 3-2 victory and cutting the gap between themselves and the summit to just four points, trailing Napoli and crosstown rivals AC Milan in third place on the standings. Newly-promoted Venezia comes off back-to-back wins over Roma and Bologna but this test might prove too stern.

Suggested bet: Inter Milan to win
Value bet: Inter Milan to win and both teams to score

AC Milan v Sassuolo (Sunday)

AC Milan suffered their first league defeat of the campaign in a 4-3 humdinger last weekend away at Fiorentina. The Rossoneri found themselves 3-0 down after an hour and did well to mount a challenge in the second half. Despite the hiccup, they remain joint-leaders at the summit of Serie A. Sassuolo find themselves winless in three games but interestingly, eight of their last 10 games have seen both teams score in high-scoring affairs.

Suggested bet: Over 2.5 goals
Value bet: AC Milan to win and both teams to score

Monaco v Strasbourg (Sunday)

Monaco entertains Strasbourg in search of victory after winning just one of their last five Ligue 1 matches. Strasbourg comes off back-to-back stalemates with Nantes and Reims but has been underwhelming on their travels, winning just once in five matches away from the Stade de la Meinau. The visitors will be hoping to meet a weary Monaco outfit following their midweek UEFA Europa League clash with Real Sociedad.

Suggested bet: Under 2.5 goals
Value bet: Draw

Marseille v Troyes (Sunday)

Marseille is unbeaten in five matches with three wins and two draws. Having last weekend’s match at Lyon abandoned after Dimitri Payet was hit on the head with a water bottle from fans, the hosts will be rearing to go on and collect maximum points over newly-promoted Troyes who come into the clash after defeats to Lens (4-0) and Saint-Etienne (1-0).

Suggested bet: Marseille to win
Value bet: Marseille to win to zero
