RWC19 SuperBru: BET.co.za v Brus Quarter-Final Score Update

The Rugby World Cup quarter-finals have come and gone. While the results themselves weren’t surprising, guessing the winning margin was a different story.

England and New Zealand proved they far too good for Australia and Ireland, Wales edged France with the help of a red card, while South Africa broke the host nations hearts. It was a slow start by the Superbru’s as they backed the plus in the first quarter-final.

Who would’ve thought England would manhandle Australia in such a convincing manner. Then Bru’s turned on the heat! They went on to pick up the next two handicaps comfortably. Backing the minus in the New Zealand game was a genius move but the pick of the weekend was the French plus. Even with 14 men, the French never looked like conceding points. The last match of the weekend saw South Africa take on Japan.

The Bru’s envisioned a tight contest but the Springboks thought much differently. Legend says the Springboks maul is still rolling.

All in all – the Bru’s won two out of four handicaps this weekend. An interesting two weeks lie ahead with BET.co.za leading 22-19, for a total profit/loss of -710. Only four handicaps are up for grabs. Can you Brus turn that negative return into a positive one? Only time will tell.
