Olympic Betting Tips

As we approach the tail end of the Tokyo Olympics, several events are reaching their conclusions and there are three in particular that we have our eyes on for Thursday.

Men’s 400m

The men’s 400m final is arguably the main event of interest in Thursday’s Olympic action as the finalists fight it out in order to inherit Wayde van Niekerk’s crown.

The South African superstar failed to make it through to the final, which means that world champion Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas is, perhaps, the one to watch.

There will be no throwback Thursday for South African fans who were hoping for van Niekerk to roll back the clock, but there is still a chance to win big from betting.

Best Tip: Steven Gardiner to Win Gold

Men’s Shot Put

Kyle Blignaut will feature in the final of the men’s shot put for South Africa, but the favourite is USA’s Joe Kovacs.

Kovacs won the gold medal at the 2019 world championship with 22.91 metres and will be setting his sights on yet another first place finish on the big stage.

Best Tip: Joe Kovacs to win Gold

Women’s Soccer: Australia v USA

The USWNT have a more balanced team than Australia and finished ahead of them during the group stages. Australia have beaten expectations at this tournament, but the defending world champions will be desperate to gain something from the Olympics and are likely to claim bronze.

Best Tip: USA To Win
