16 Oct 19:00 Atlanta Falcons v San Francisco 49ers

The Falcons may have only won only 2 games so far this season but they have managed to cover the spread in all games played. The line here is set at 5 and we have to back the underdog. Last weekend in the win against the Carolina Panthers, the 49ers lost 3 vital players to injuries (Emmanuel Moseley, Jimmie Ward and Nick Bosa). Now the 49ers are known for their defence but losing a player like Nick Bosa will affect their offensive play. Even if the 49ers win this game should be close and the value lies with the Falcons, they are top 10 in points scored per game and have been very competitive against every opponent faced.

A field goal difference is the spread for this game and the value lies with the home team. The Lions may have failed to get a single point against the Patriots but when the Browns have a player as hot as Nick Chubb that won’t happen in this game. The Browns love having ball possession and running the ball, and it will be up to Jakoby Brisset to up his game here. The overs is also a good bet as the Browns are in top 6 in points per game and we know the Patriots struggle defensively.

16 Oct 19:00 Miami Dolphins v Minnesota Vikings

Tua Tagovailoa is ruled out for this game and the Dolphins will start the rookie, Skylar Thompson. I have no faith in Thompson whatsoever as the Vikings are a very aggressive side and with the pressure, they will put on Skylar I see him turning over the ball. Kevin O’Connell now has things for his side going smooth as they are now on a 3-game winning streak and i expect it to continue after this game. This Dolphin’s side was supposed to have improved from last season but they are giving up too many yards and points, I have to take the Vikings here.

16 Oct 22:05 LA Rams v Carolina Panthers

The over is set very low for this game but that’s the favourite bet, the spread for either team has too much risk. The Panthers have one of the worst defences in the league and the Rams are to win this game comfortably, with the likes of Cooper Cupp taking advantage of the defence and getting a TD. Even though the Panthers are underdogs in this game, they are averaging 17.7 points per game compared to the Rams who are just 13.0. There won’t be a defence here the over should come.
