WATCH: HEATED MERSEYSIDE DERBY MOMENTS

The Merseyside derby sees the blue and red side of Liverpool clash in what is commonly known as the ‘friendly derby’. With family loyalties divided between Everton and Liverpool, the derby is one of the few un-segregated crowds in modern football.

However, in recent years the passion and rivalry between these two teams has intensified and often boiled over on the pitch. The clash is head and shoulders above the nearest rival in terms of red cards dished out.

With Liverpool firmly in the race for the 2018/19 Premier League title this Sunday’s clash at Goodison Park promises to be a particularly intense one as the Toffees look to scupper their neighbours’ hopes.
