The Cooler: Pollard’s Kicking woes, Naby Keita skillz, UEFA Player of the Year, Tuesday Falcon…
Tuesday dawns here at BET Central and though some of us are in early, we can expect a stampede of jubilant Liverpool fans to make their appearance shortly. Mercifully it was only a 2-0 win or we may have had to call in a sick day.
Today on The Cooler it’s time to dig into the stories making the tongues wag this fine Tuesday.
We’d like to hear your opinions on the big talking points. Drop us a line on @betcoza with the #BETCentral and we’ll have a chat!
Well, we hope you kicked Tuesday in the head – it’s been great being with you here on The Cooler. We promised you a Falcon and we’re checking out with a Falcon!

The way Jose Mourinho behaves it’s no surprise there’s a line around the block waiting for him to stumble, and when he does to give him a good kick in the rump and have a laugh at his expense.
A much shorter queue is the one of people feeling sorry for him as he flails again at United. He stomped and hurled over enough people on his way to the top to ensure that.
But his latest claims that Man City have ‘no class’ are simply outrageous. Have a read of this column by John Nicholson to see just why.

If you’ve been hiding under a rock and haven’t come across the self-dubbed ‘Son of Khomphelarisms’ then kick back and enjoy this stroke of genius.

We often get hung up on the classic goals, but two great bits of skill from Antoine Griezmann and Naby Keita deserve their own 15 seconds of fame. Enjoy these.

Your responses have been pretty evenly split at this early stage. Ronaldo 50%, Modric 37,5% and Salah 12.5%. Click on the Tweet and let us know who you fancy.

Handre Pollard had a wretched day with the boot on Saturday as he only managed to land two of his seven attempts on goal. His performance is splitting opinions with Elton Jantjies also turning in below-par performances in the Green and Gold.
There are some quite frankly ridiculous comparisons going on between Pollard and Jantjies with the harsh truth being that both simply have to do better in the Bok 10 jersey. For what it’s worth, though, here’s the pro and con articles.
