The Cooler: The Aphiwe Dyantyi Award, Steve Khomphela, Lukaku Burn, David Silva Heroics, Ridiculous Mbappe…
Exciting times this Monday morning with our first new regular feature coming to The Cooler.
In praise of Springbok winger Aphiwe Dyantyi this past weekend we’ll start the weekend with the Dyantyi of the weekend. Scroll down to see him win his award at the first time of asking!
There’s plenty to get through today after a cracking weekend of sport. Let’s have a little less conversation a little more action and climb straight into today’s edition of The Cooler.
As always we’d love you to join us around The Cooler by throwing your 2c worth at us on Twitter @betcoza using the #BETCentral!

Steve Khomphela had a rough time of it at Kaizer Chiefs, but he’s landed running at Bloemfontein Celtic and it’s great to see him shining.
One thing is for sure, the ABSA Premiership is better with Steve Khomphela in it.

After beating Orlando Pirates 1-0 this past weekend, Steve has insisted there is no room for sentiment as he prepares to take on Kaizer Chiefs on the 28th of August. We get the feeling he might be just a little bit fired up for that one!
In praise of South African winger Aphiwe Dyanti’s man of the match – heck – man of the weekend performance with his play, tries and comments this past weekend we’ve promised from here on in to always start the weekend off with the most positive story we can find.
The Aphiwe Dyantyi award if you like.
Not only did Dyantyi pep up our weekend with his unselfish play, his comments post match illustrate just how much the flying winger has his feet on the ground. Wingers are traditionally known as being a bit selfish, but take a bow Aphiwe you’re our hero this fine Monday.
