Bringing you the banter from around the BET Central Watercooler.
For all the sports and sports betting highlights coming at you live throughout the day look no further than The Cooler!
Right let’s crack on with things…
Say it ain’t so! The WGC Bridgestone Invitational is set to be played at the iconic Firestone Country Club for the last time this weekend before moving to the TPC Southwind.
Now this poses some serious problems. How do you bet against Tiger Woods at Firestone? I don’t think you do with eight wins in fifteen starts on the course. Throw in an emotional farewell to the course and Tiger’s return could be one for the books.
The other problem though is how to punt against Dustin Johnson when he’s in this sort of form. He could make his odds look like a joke if he picks up where he left off last week.
WGC Bridgestone – BETTING
Dustin Johnson 7.75
Rory McIlroy 11.25
Tiger Woods 14.25
Justin Rose 14.50
Jordan Spieth 16.75
Rickie Fowler 21.00

Right, we’ll be honest we hit the Monday afternoon wall hard. Thankfully there was a sneaky link lurking in our inbox pointing us the direction of Bands F.C. Proper stuff.
They’ve only been going a month and are already developing a cult following. Build an online store and just take our money!

Let’s leave the discussion for who is responsible for naming these tournaments and their lack of imagination for another time.
There’s not too much top class footy on at the moment as we prepare for the new season – but we do have a little lunch time snack when PSG takes on Atletico.
Have a punt on the game HERE.
PSG 2.50 vs Atletico Madrid 0.85
There were some heated opinions – many of them unprintable – about the absolute dog show that took place at Greyville on Saturday.
Gold Circle brought in Australian commentator Terry Spargo to call the big races and his unfamiliarity led to pretty disastrous results in the main race.
Watch as he calls home favourite It’s My Turn as Witchcraft right up until it’s almost too late. Epic fail!
There was a deafening silence after the finish until poor Terry could muster, “I’m sorry, I’ve mucked it up”.
SHUT THE DOOR! Aphiwe Dyantyi on absolute fire for the Lions at Ellis Park. A third straight final for the Lions is a huge achievement, but we’re happy we don’t have to head to Christchurch for the final.
Aphiwe Dyantyi scored the try of the weekend with an unbelievable solo effort to get the lions back in the game ?@DavidCampese would be proud of that goose step ?#SuperRugby #Lions #LIOvWAR pic.twitter.com/pCqEKAn99h — BET.co.za (@betcoza) July 29, 2018
