Luckily, we’ve got you covered on that front, providing our 10 best picks for the weekend across the globe, while searching for the ultimate value bet in hope of making your betting slip the next big-winning ticket.

Mbombela United will be hoping to cause a major upset when they face Cape Town City in the small town of Kanyamazane. Despite fighting relegation in the GladAfrica Championship, the hosts may have a trick up their sleeve in the form of Kingston Nkhatha, who is a two-time winner of the Nedbank Cup. Cape Town City have established themselves as cup kings, showing a consistent run of form in each domestic tournament. However, the club have never lifted the Nedbank Cup. As proven before, it takes an Absa Premiership giant to knock City out of a cup competition.

Sheffield United continued to ride the crest of the wave as the Blades moved closer to the European spots in the English Premier League, beating Crystal Palace 1-0. Chris Wilder’s charges have lost just three of their last 10 league encounters, which came at Liverpool, and twice against Manchester City. Bournemouth have been out of sorts this campaign, although they have won back-to-back matches in the Premier League. Both of those victories for the Cherries were on home soil, so they could find the going tough in South Yorkshire.

Real Madrid aim for five successive La Liga wins when they face Osasuna this weekend. The Zinedine Zidane-coached side have been superb this season, losing just once throughout the entire campaign. Los Blancos now ride a 13-game unbeaten run and will look to stretch their three-point lead at the top of the Spanish La Liga. Osasuna dropped down to the bottom half of the table last weekend and have won just one of their last seven league matches.

It’s one of the longest-standing and fiercest rivalries in world football. The meeting between Inter Milan and AC Milan has so much more to it than just bragging rights, the pride of the city is at stake too. At the San Siro Stadium, only one Milan club has been excellent though and that’s Antonio Conte’s Inter. They’ve lost just once on their home ground, but have only won six of their 11 encounters. AC Milan have turned the corner in recent weeks, riding a five-game unbeaten run in the Italian Serie A.

Saturday’s German Bundesliga outing between Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund should provide plenty of fireworks with both sides’ frontmen looking to continue their superb goalscoring exploits. Leverkusen have managed to score eight goals in their last three league games, while Dortmund have amassed 15 goals in that period, netting five times in each encounter. The Black and Yellow Army also have red-hot striker, Erling Haaland, in their ranks – who will look to continue his blistering streak.

Rock-solid Marseille may seem some way off the top of the French Ligue 1, but they’re certainly leading the chasing pack and will continue to do so for a while. Marseille haven’t lost a game at home since their league opener back in August, while their opponents, Toulouse, have not won away from their home turf throughout the entire campaign, losing eight of their 12 ties. The hosts are unbeaten in 11 league encounters and have kept three successive clean sheets.

Third-placed Sporting Braga will be hoping to make it six Portuguese Primeira Liga wins in a row when they welcome Gil Vicente to the Braga Municipal Stadium. The hosts are one of the in-form teams throughout the division, while Gil Vicente are without a victory in their last three games. In their last league tie, the visitors were hammered 5-1 at home by Moreirense. Sporting Braga will want to get comfortable in third spot and distance themselves from those breathing down their necks.

High-flying Ajax will be looking to stretch further ahead in the Dutch Eredivisie when they travel to face FC Utrecht at the Stadion Galgenwaard. The visitors have amassed a total of 50 points in 16 games, netting 62 times. Utrecht are seventh in the standings and have won just one of their last four encounters. Quincy Promes, Dusan Tadic, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Donny Van De Beek And Hakim Ziyech have all been firing on all cylinders this term – which has resulted in the amount of goals that Ajax have scored.

African powerhouse, Al Ahly, have a record like none other on the continent. With four games in hand, Al Ahly sit four points clear at the top of the Egyptian Premier League, winning all 12 of their league games, conceding just twice. El Gaish have won only one of their last five league matches. To make matters worse, on the road, the visitors have won just one of their eight ties, scoring a mere eight goals. The Cairo International Stadium is one of the most feared grounds in Africa with Al Ahly making it a daunting trip for all of their opponents.

BET: EGYPTIAN PREMIER LEAGUE

FUS Rabat hopes to upset the applecart and continue their long-unbeaten streak of nine league matches when they face table-toppers, Wydad Casablanca. The hosts are the highest scorers in the Moroccan Botola 1 and have also conceded the fewest amount of goals. Despite this, Wydad have not kept a clean sheet in their last six league outings. FUS Rabat’s unbeaten run may come to an end here, but they will certainly make it difficult for their opponents.
