There are plenty of MLB matches to bet on this week, and as usual, Justin Simelane has prepared his betting tips for tomorrow morning’s three matches. Feel free to add his tips to your bet slip.
14 June 00:40 Detroit Tigers v Atlanta Braves
Spencer Strider starts this game for the Braves and that gives me the confidence to back them. In 8 games he started, the Braves have won 6 and he has an ERA of 3.79. Reece Olson the young pitcher, has only started in one game so far this season which resulted in a loss but we could see him struggle more tonight against one of the best offensive teams in the league. The Braves average almost 5 runs per game while Detroit is below 3, take the away side here to end their two-game losing streak.
Suggested Bet: Atlanta Braves ML
14 April 01:10 Boston Red Sox v Colorado Rockies
Boston are the favourites for this one but I’m taking the bet with more value and that is the over. Boston is a top 5 team in the league when it comes to hits at 592 and the majority of these hits are because of their home record, they average almost 6 runs at home. Colorado is not the best team when they play away from the Coors field, with their struggles I don’t see them shutting down Boston but they should get a few runs. Take the over or the secondary bet would be to bet on Boston.
Suggested Bet: Over 9/Boston Red Sox ML
14 June 02:05 Texas Rangers v LA Angels
Last night’s game between these two brought in the runs but I don’t think the same will fall on this game, especially when you have Jaime Barria starting. The 26-year-old pitcher has an earned run average of only 1.85 and in his previous start, he only allowed 1 run. The Rangers pitcher Jon Gray is currently having his best season in his career, his ERA this year is only 2.32. This game should be a duel between the pitchers, I don’t see last night’s runs repeating, take the under.
