Jack Flaherty starts for the Cardinals and he has been having a good month, boasting an ERA of 2.77 going 3-1, but he has come up against the Diamondbacks before and he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. Zac Gallen will be on the mound for Arizona and he has been excellent when pitching at home, the last time the Diamondbacks lost when he pitched at home was back in early June against the Braves. The Diamondbacks have momentum here and I’m taking them.

Both teams here have been hot in terms of their offense, scoring nearly 6 runs per game but the pitching tonight will be the difference. Spencer Strider plays better away at home, the Braves Ace is currently 7-1 on the road with an ERA below 3. Atlanta hasn’t been their best since the all-star break but they are still the leading team in the National League, they won’t get swept in this series. Take them to win the second game.

The two wins the Astros have in this series have done a lot for them because if they win tonight they are tied with the Rangers for 1st place in the AL west division. The Astros have been playing good basketball in their last 7 they have only lost once. Frambler Valdez has struggled when playing away at times this season and the last time he faced the Rangers he got destroyed. But we know how good Frambler is and with a lot on the line for the Astros here, he’s the man who can deliver. If Frambler starts well the Astros win this game.
