Here we have a very good underdog with the Rockies and if you feel like taking a big risk you can even give them the moneyline. Michael Wacha is starting for the Padres and in his last 2 starts he has been hit hard. In 3 games pitching only 14 innings, he’s allowed 12 runs, and his ERA for the month stands at 7.71. The Rockies have been playing some good baseball recently, in their last 6 games they have only lost once but in that loss, they still managed to cover the spread as underdogs. The Rockies have momentum here, take them as underdogs.

The Dodgers are the NL West Division champions for 2023, but just because they have secured that title it does not mean they are not motivated to get more wins before the season ends. They are back home where they play their best baseball. They haven’t lost a series at home in a while and I see them winning game one here. The Tigers are a poor offensive team, they are bottom in the majority of the defensive categories. I am taking the Dodges for game one.
