This is a bet I like, these two have gone over in every game so far of the series but this is the one where they finally go under. Tony Gonsolin starts for the Dodgers here and the last time he started against the Padres he shut them down. Seth Lugo starts for the Padres, now he may be the better pitcher if you had to compare he’s just in a worse team. This is the game where the offenses slow down and the fact that this game will play during the day will also affect that, take the under.

The last time the Braves lost to the Pirates was in 2021 but after they have played against each other 10 times ( 8 being competitive), the Braves have beaten the Pirates 10 games in a row. The Braves will be starting their ace Spencer Strider for this game, and he is 12-3 for the season with a WHIP of 1.09 and ERA of 3.61. Last season he shut out the Pirates,and he hasn’t lost an away game since back in June. The Braves are the better team here take them.

When two teams that have bad pitching play against each other, the right bet is always the over and that is the bet to go for here. In their last 3 game series, the overcame twice and I see it being the bet for game one here. The Reds only get shut down against teams with good defense, otherwise, they have been averaging nearly 5 runs per game against their opponents in the previous month. The Marlins have been struggling since all star, they have the worst starts to games, take them over here.

08 Aug 03:40 Oakland Athletics vs Texas Rangers

The Rangers are back in their groove, they have won their previous 6 games and sweeping the White Sox and the Marlins. This should be a series where they get another sweep. Ken Waldichuk will start for Oakland and this is someone who is not going to shut out one of the best offensive teams in the league. The Athletics pitcher has an ERA of 6.52 and is currently 2-7 for the season. I’m not going to overthink this one, the over could be a secondary bet but take the Rangers.
