Soul Train stuttered when backed on debut and with natural improvement, should make good on that promise soon. Love Potion has a bit to find with that rival but could to earn a cheque. A bigger threat is likely to come from improving Private Initiative and newcomer Forest Of Green.

Fairview – Race 7 – 16:05

Lightly raced six-year-old Tiger Star has obvious ability but also some issues. She was only touched off under a big weight over course and distance at this level against male rivals last time out, and a repeat of that effort back among her own sex with a 4kg claimer up should see her contest the outcome despite a wide draw. Improving last-start winner Perfect Pathway concedes weight to that older rival but is likely to provide a stern challenge to her stable companion nonetheless after a recent maiden win on local and Poly debut. Natural jade, Yodalicious and Winter Five have earning potential.
