Justin Thomas is the PGA 2K21 cover athlete
Last week we brought you the potentially exciting news of a new golf video game. As promised, we’re keeping on the trail of the story as the announcements roll out.
It was revealed today, via Justin Thomas’s various social media accounts, that he would grace the cover of PGA 2K21 – a big thing for sports video game enthusiasts. The reveal also comes with a launch date – 21 August 2020.

2K teased earlier in the day that the cover star would be revealed soon, although using his exact silhouette both gave away the secret, and led to a hilarious slew of banter towards JT and the game’s producers.
Here are some alternate suggestions I enjoyed:

It’s likely the real golfing GOAT, Tiger Woods, would’ve cost more than the budget to put this thing together. Justin Thomas follows in both his footsteps, as well as the likes of Rory McIlroy and Arnold Palmer as cover stars of golf games. There’s not enough time between now and 21 August for him to break into this kind of company, let’s just hope the game fills that void.
There’s likely to be pre-release game footage and demo tests from industry folk before launch, so keep subscribe to Bet Central and we’ll keep bringing you the news as it unfolds.
