Tim Paine had one of his worst days as the skipper of the Australian cricket side. Not only did the under pressure wicketkeeper drop three important catches helping India to a heroic draw, but he was also embarrassed by Ravi Ashwin in what was a heated exchange in Sydney.
Ashwin was fundamental to India saving the Test, batting through the entire final session of play in partnership with the patient Hanuma Vihari. It was an epic show of mental strength by the Indians. For the Aussies, it was a crushing blow with Paine having to suffer the most after his chirps failed to land and his position as keeper and captain continued to be under intense scrutiny.

Tim Paine's needless chitchat with Ashwin cost Aussies the match. He should have stuck to what he does best, that is, keep wickets. Also, it is worth remembering here that Ashwin has four more test centuries than Paine.
