Throughout the first three games of the Ashes, Usman Khawaja was the standout batsman, with his consistent and impressive performances. However, Zak Crawley showcased his prowess with a remarkable century in the rain-affected fourth Test, propelling him to the top of the runscorer’s leaderboard. Despite Crawley’s outstanding innings, Khawaja’s showing in the final Test allowed him to reclaim his position as the highest runscorer of the Ashes 2023.
