SA20 Betting: Paarl Royals v Joburg Super Kings & MI Cape Town v Durban Super Giants

The SA20 has got off to a fantastic start and now on Friday the 13th, we have the competition’s first doubleheader in the Western Cape. First, the Paarl Royals host the Joburg Super Kings in Paarl. And then tournament favourites MI Cape Town take on the Durban Duper Giants.

As usual, host Carl Lewis and cricket punter Lwanele Poswayo preview both matches and have betting tips and predictions.

First, we start at Boland Park in Paarl. The Paarl Royals and Joburg Super Kings will lock horns in Match 4 of the SA20. The Royals want to bounce back after an opening-day loss. Meanwhile, the Joburg Super Kings won their tournament opener in Durban after inspired batting from Donovan Ferreira.

The Paarl wicket is not always easy to bat on but the Royals do have Jos Buttler in their ranks who can win a match singlehandedly. The strong batting lineup of the Super Kings is led by Faf du Plessis and Ferreira.

For the second match, we are an hour away in Cape Town for Match 5 between tournament favourites MI Cape Town and the Durban Super Giants at the picturesque Newlands.

MI Cape Town’s scary squad depth makes them the favourite here against Durban. The Super Giants do have Quinton de Kock and a host of very good all-rounders. Their bowling unit might suit the slow Newlands pitch (it was on Tuesday).
