Mzansi Super League is South Africa’s premier franchise T20 competition. The competition is made up of 6 teams who have home grounds across the country’s best stadium.

Mzansi Super League Teams

Cape Town Blitz play at Newlands Stadium. They have marquee players like Moeen Ali, Quinton de Kock and Dale Steyn. Durban Heat are playing their home games at Kingsmead Stadium. They are coached by legend Gary Kirsten and have big hitting David Miller and spinner Keshav Maharaj in their squad.
Jozi Stars play out of the Wanderers Stadium situated in Johannesburg. Their superstars include Chris Gayle, Temba Bavuma and the world class pace bowler Kagiso Rabada.
Nelson Mandela Bay Giants are based in Port Elizabeth at St Georges Park. T20 hero Jason Roy leads their batting lineup, with Proteas stalwarts Chris Morris and Imraan Tahir leading their bowling attack.
Paarl Rock are the second team from the Western Cape. They are based at Boland Park, and Proteas captain Faf du Plessis and Aidan Markram as their star batsmen. JP Duminy will provide the all rounder ability in their middle order.
Tshwane Spartans are the Pretoria based team, playing out of Supersport Park Centurion. Dean Elgar and AB de Villiers headline their batting lineup whilst speedsters Lungi Ngidi and Morne Morkel feature as strike bowlers.
