IPL 2020: Match 56 – Sunrisers Hyderabad v Mumbai Indians Preview, Prediction, Probable Playing XI and Value bets.

Betting Preview

It is the 56th and final league game of the 2020 edition of the IPL. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have all to play for as they will up against a dominant and top-placed Mumbai Indians (MI). It is simple for SRH, if they win this game, they will be through to the playoffs else they will be knocked out. Meanwhile, as far as MI are concerned, irrespective of the result in this game, they will finish at the top of the points table.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have been inconsistent throughout this tournament. They just couldn’t find any sort of momentum going until the last two games. However, David Warner and his men seem to be peaking at the right time. With two wins in a row and both of those being comprehensive wins, SRH have their fate in their own hands. The batting is looking a lot more settled with Kane Williamson in the middle-order. David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha have shown great intent at the top. Rashid Khan has led the bowling attack admirably and thus, SRH have got things falling into place pretty well in the last couple of games.

On the other hand, MI doesn’t have a lot to worry about. Everything has clicked for them so far. Even in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, who was rested for the last game, MI look a formidable line-up. This might be the game where the four-time champions try to experiment a touch before the knockouts. Their top-order is going well while the bowling seems to be firing consistently as well.

Hence, it is a big game for SRH while MI are sitting pretty at the top and will finish there irrespective of what happens in this game.

Injury and Availability News

Mitchell Marsh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were ruled out of the entire tournament early in the season. Now, Vijay Shankar joins the casualty list and will miss the remainder of the season. Rohit Sharma’s availability is still uncertain and he has missed four games now.

Key Players to watch out for

David Warner: The SRH skipper may have got a low score in the last game but his intent in the last few games has been bang on. Warner has been going hard early in the innings and it has helped SRH get off to flying starts. Moreover, Warner might unleash himself under pressure in what is a must-win game for SRH.

T Natarajan: The left-arm fast bowler from Tamil Nadu has been pretty impressive this season. He has nailed the yorkers consistently and has been a reliable death bowler for SRH. T Natarajan has picked up 14 wickets so far and has an economy of 7.88. His battle with the strong MI middle-order at the death might be a crucial one.

Trent Boult: The New Zealand left-arm fast bowler has been very good in this season so far. He has got wickets regularly with the new ball and has picked up a wicket in the first over of the innings five times this season. Overall, Boult has 20 wickets to his name and has become a vital member of the MI side.
