The home side Punjab Kings suffered an 8-wicket loss at the hands of SRH in their previous game while Gujarat Titans lost to KKR in dramatic fashion, conceding five sixes in the last 5 balls as KKR chased down 204.

Punjab Kings will be boosted by the return of Liam Livingstone who hasn’t played a game of cricket since December. Kagiso Rabada could also be recalled after warming the bench this past weekend. The visitors, on the other hand, will be boosted by the return of their skipper Hardik Pandya who missed the previous game through illness.

The players to look out for in this game are Shikhar Dhawan and Rashid Khan. Dhawan has been Punjab’s top-scorer in their last two matches while Rashid has been Gujarat’s top-wicket taker in each of their three matches this season. I expect both to be at their very best once again in this game. Dhawan to score 50+ runs is at 3.00 while Rashid Khan is at 2.20 to take over 1.5 wickets. Both are good value.

Both of these sides have won two and lost one so far in the tournament with the defeats coming in their most recent games. I’m backing Gujarat Titans to travel to Mohali and return with the win in this game, especially if they bat second as they’ve won 10 of their last 11 chases in the IPL.
