On Wednesday day 1 of the second Test match between South Africa and India, fans gathered at Newlands Stadium to watch Proteas veteran batsman Dean Elgar on his final match in the longest format. Since making a debut a decade ago, Elgar has turned up to be one of the most prolific figures ever produced in the country.
