Floyd Mayweather v Logan Paul: When, Where, Money, Odds and Why? We’ve got everything you need to know about this strange fight.

BOxing Betting

One of the greatest to ever do it, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, will take on a YouTuber-turned-fighter Logan Paul in one of the weirdest and most hyped fights oni recent memory. This is the world we live so let’s accept it.

We’re here to reveal everything you need to know about Mayweather v Paul.

Why Are They Fighting?

I’m not sure who asked for it but let’s be real, it has everything to do with money and hype.

The Actual Fight?

Logan Paul has a weight, height and age advantage over Mayweather but the retired fighter has a 50-0 professional record. Mayweather is one of the best boxers ever, his punching accuracy and ability to dodge and defend are legendary.

However, he’s 44 and used to fighting opponents around 50lb lighter than what Logan Paul weighed before his last fight. The weight difference will likely be slightly narrower for this fight, but it’ll still be enormous. Logan Paul is also six inches taller than Mayweather and has significantly greater reach.

Logan Paul has only fought professionally once – he lost that at the hands of a fellow novice who was both shorter and lighter. This should be a cakewalk for Mayweather but Paul will get his exposure and a potentially battered ego.

When Is The Fight Happening?

The Mayweather v Paul fight is set for Sunday, June 6. This will be Mayweather’s first fight in 28 months and Logan Paul’s first in a year and a half.

What Are The Odds Like?

Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather is 1/25

Draw is 25/1

Logan Paul is 9/1

How Much Is Mayweather and Paul Earning?

Speaking on the Disruptive Entrepreneur podcast in March this year, Mayweather said that he could make as much money fighting Logan Paul as he did with Conor McGregor.

“I can fight a fighter right now and I can guarantee myself $35million. I can eventually probably make $50million, for just a regular fight. Or me and Logan Paul, or a YouTuber, we can go out, entertain and have fun, and make nine figures $100million or more.”

“I think we’ve got a six-round exhibition. I think it’s gonna be very entertaining for the people, I think people are gonna love it. $35million for 12 rounds or $100million for six rounds – big difference.”
