Now the Lakers were underdogs in the first game of the series heading into this one they are now favourites and they should deliver. The Lakers had 5 players with at least 19 points in the first game, they have more offensive depth and without Ja the Grizzlies become short-handed. Denver proved to be too much for the Timberwolves and the same case will fall here with the Nuggets taking a 2-0 lead in the series. Denver were one of the teams with the best home record during the regular season and that’s what’s going to help them in the first 2 games. In the opener, they outplayed the Timberwolves in every statistical category. The Timberwolves need Rudy Gobert as he gets the boards for them but when it comes to offensive efficiency the French center is poor, he had a horrible game last time around and with the style of play the Nuggets have he’ll struggle here too, which is an advantage for the Nuggets.
